Jonathan Dorn began his journey as a musician and psalmist before growing into a speaker, minister, and educator. Born in Florida in 1992, exactly one week before Christmas, Jonathan is the youngest of three children raised in a two-parent home. He was born and raised in the Sunshine State, where faith, family, and perseverance shaped his early life.

During Jonathan’s elementary years, his mom battled health issues that forced her to pause her teaching and music career. His father often worked two jobs while pastoring a small church in Central Florida. It was during this season that Jonathan began preaching and singing across the state as a teenager. Prayer and a deepening faith in God transformed his life and instilled in him the belief that he was called to make a difference in the world.

After high school, Jonathan delayed college for nearly ten years in order to help care for his mother. In 2019, he was awarded a scholarship to attend Valor Christian College in Columbus, Ohio. There, he developed a profound appreciation for education, serving as an on-campus mentor and working closely with the college Provost. Jonathan completed his Bachelor’s degree in Christian Ministries and his Master of Education degree from Liberty University in 2025.

As a young African American man from a middle-to-lower income background, Jonathan always dreamed of changing the world. Today, he is actively pursuing that vision through the power of education. While completing his bachelor’s & master’s degrees Jonathan taught as a full time teacher. He taught for nearly 4 years as an elementary, middle, and high School teacher. Jonathan is passionate about expansion of Christian Education in the United States. He is also motivated to inspire young people, especially young men of color, to pursue careers in education.

Now, Jonathan endeavors to change the world through God’s Word equipping and empowering end-time prophets while building strong believers grounded in faith and truth. He carries a vision to plant a church in Central Florida that cultivates spiritual growth, leadership, and purpose, helping people mature into their full potential in Christ.
