In this session, you will learn the characteristics of a true prophet and how to discern authentic prophetic ministry. You will guide students through the biblical distinctions between true and false prophets, emphasizing fruit, character, alignment with Scripture, and faithfulness to God’s voice.
The session will also explore the different types of prophetic expressions, helping participants understand how the prophetic operates in diverse ways while remaining unified in purpose. These include:
Dreamers – those who receive revelation through dreams
Visionaries – those who see spiritual images, scenes, or encounters
Interpreters – those gifted to bring clarity and understanding to prophetic revelations
Messengers – those called to boldly deliver the word of the Lord
Counselors – those who apply prophetic insight with wisdom, guidance, and pastoral care
By the end of the session, students will have a clearer understanding of how God speaks through prophets and through them individually, how to identify authentic prophetic ministry, and how their own prophetic gifting may function within the Body of Christ.
